Best Practices for Contract Management

ROH’s contract signing and management process is designed to help you meet all necessary compliance requirements.

Follow these industry best practices to ensure that contracts are executed and managed correctly, and avoid actions that could jeopardize the legal validity of agreements.
  1. Fully Executed Contracts
Once a contract is fully signed by all parties, a copy will be automatically emailed to all signers, ensuring everyone has a record of the finalized agreement. You can also download any fully executed contract in ROH at any time. This ensures that all parties have access to the complete contract and provides an easily accessible digital record.
  2. Editing Contracts
Once a contract is created in ROH, it cannot be edited, and signers cannot be updated. If changes are needed after a contract is created, a new contract must be generated. This preserves the integrity of the original contract and ensures that all parties sign the same version of the agreement.
  3. Manually Completed Contracts
When manually marking a contract as complete, be aware that it indicates the contract was executed outside of ROH. As a result, no copy will be available for download within the platform. Marking a contract as complete prematurely can prevent access to the contract in ROH and may result in losing a record of the agreement.

By following these best practices for contract signing and management, you’ll ensure that your contracts are handled properly, legally binding, and compliant with all necessary regulations.
